The Tony Alvarez cigars are aged and have a nice medium bodied taste. The wrapper is an exquisite habano tobacco leaf. The binder and pure long filler are finely cured habano. Tony has been making fine cigars for years and these prove his talents. Read about his history and accomplishments below.
He personally supervises each roller in the creation of these torpedo cigars, and some of the cigars are even made by the man himself. 25 cigars are hand packed in a cellophane bundle. At these prices it is like buying the cigars wholesale. Quantities of these torpedos are limited so get them at these wholesale prices now.
Tony Alvarez is a Cuban Master cigar maker. He grew tobacco and hand rolled perfect cigars in Cuba for Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba. He then fled Cuba and while in Miami, Florida rolled for Don Tito, La Gloria Cubana and eventually started CAONAO cigars with his partners. Tony knows cigars so he sold his interest in that company and went to Esteli, Nicaragua to open his own small factory.
His cigars are all totally made by hand, and many he makes himself. He only uses the best wrappers, binders and fillers to make these torpedo cigars. As in the traditional cuban cigar factory, cigars do not leave his factory until he personally inspects them. They are all top premium cigars. That is the only way that Tony knows how to make them.
Once you try them you'll see what we mean. Packaged naked in a bundle of 25, these Maduro Robusto are beautifully box-pressed and are 5 inches long with a 50 ring gauge.
They're so good that we're backing them up as if we had made them. Try one from the bundle and if you don't absolutely enjoy them, send the rest of them back and we'll give you a full refund of the purchase price. That's how confident we are.
Quantities are very limited and once we're sold out, we'll probably never get them again at this price.

Smokes very well. Well made cigar.

These guys are tightly boxed making the shape rectangular. The burn stays nice and even so long as you keep rotating them. The flavor is nice and complex. My batch was a little dry, making them harsh at the start - my buddy choked on it. Towards the middle, they mellow out considerably and become creamy with chocolate and cedar flavors.
I put the rest in a humidor at 60%. I think they will benefit from some extra moisture. Over all a great smoke and well worth the price.

at first the cigar feels smaller than a robusto but i think its the box press. first light is a little strong but soon mellows out into a fine cigar. the burn was a little off but i just recieved them and didnt let them rest. i'm very anxious to try them in a week. great pre-light aroma.

The cigar boasts a severe box press, rectangular, rather than square. It is firm and well constructed with no soft spots. There is a pleasant pre-light aroma of well aged tobacco. The cigar lit easily and the draw was perfect, producing a large volume of smoke from the first puff. The burn was razor straight requiring no touch ups. The body was slightly north of medium and the flavors ranged from pure tobacco to hints of coffee and cocoa. This cigar lasted a surprising 40 minutes and did not disappoint at any time.
I've already reordered...

This cigar burns well and tastes good. A cigar for the experienced smoker. A firm medium-bodied cigar. And at the price it's offered it can also be an everyday cigar.
