Tony Alvarez Chairman big cigar is totally handmade with Cuban-seed Habano. It's aged and has a smooth medium-bodied taste that makes it a winner. Tony's Chairman Habano cigars have a huge 60 ring gauge, almost an inch in girth, and are creamy with well balanced and complex earthy notes of coffee, cedar, toast and raw cocoa. The wrapper is an exquisite Cuban-seed sun-grown Habano leaf from Nicaragua. The binder and aged long-fillers are Cuban-seed Habano also from Nicaragua. It's a big Puro made for smokers who appreciate the complexity of an all Nicaragua Habano cigar.
Tony has been making cigars since Cuba and these premium big cigars prove his talents. He is a well-regarded Cuban Master cigar maker. He grew tobacco and hand rolled perfect cigars in Cuba for Monte Cristo, Romeo y Julieta and Cohiba. He then fled Cuba and while in Miami, Florida rolled for Don Tito, La Gloria Cubana and CAONAO cigars. Tony knows cigars so he went to Esteli, Nicaragua and opened his own small factory. His cigars are all totally made by hand, and many he makes himself. He only uses premium wrappers, binders and fillers. As in the traditional cuban cigar factory, not a single cigar leaves his factory until he personally inspects them. They are all top premiums. That is the only way that Tony knows how to make them.
Each Chairman is 6 inches long with a big ring gauge of 60. 25 cigars are hand packed in a cellophane bundle.

These babies arrived and look impressive. 25 60 ring gauge cigars in a big block.
Great wrapper, perfect draw on the two i have smoked. beautiful burn. i put her down during a 20 minute mtg. She just sat their patiently for me to pick her up and start again. no need to relight. Will get better when they sit for a while in my humidor.
For all the whiners and babies. If they are dry, put them in the humidor and wait.
Most smokes from Cuban Crafter cost $2-3 per stick. you would pay $15 at the local smoke shop. Can't get much better and consistent handmade gems than at Cuban Crafters. Their brands are better and more reliable than all of the cuban boxes people give me.
Yes, i've had my duds. some unravel, some draw badly some might have a soft spot. That is life.
Every attempt does not succeed. every project is not deemed a work of art. get over it!
So thankful i live in a country where everything works! I tap a few keys, spend a few dollars and people around the world coordinate everything. They grow, make, ship, deliver to my doorstep. All while im watching reruns of Leave it to Beaver.
Perfect enough for Me!!!

I have been ordering from Cuban Crafters for a couple of years now. This is however the second time I've ordered this particular cigar, and when I received them they were crunchy and stale. Other cigars that I thought it was just fine.
CUBAN CRAFTERS REMARK: We do everything possible to keep cigars in perfectly humidified condition during travel to you. Unfortunately UPS and USPS (the carriers we use) sometimes leave the box in the truck for too long. This is out of our control. The result is cigars that are slightly dry. These cigars can easily be restored to perfect condition by placing them in a humidor for a few days or in the vegetable section of the refrigerator, if you do not have a humidor.
