La Caya Dominican Maduro Torpedo cigars are handmade with a blend of Dominican Piloto and Nicaraguan Habano long-fillers, all wrapped in a Dominican Cuban-seed Piloto binder and a dark, rich Maduro wrapper. This combination of aged tobaccos provide a medium bodied smoke with a smooth, slightly sweet tobacco taste. It has waves of toasted nuts, mild cedar, anisette and light breezes of licorice. The finish brings in a tad of raw cocoa and coffee.
After being carefully handmade, these cigars were aged in a cedar lined aging room for over 2 years before being hand-packed in bundles of 20. For the price, there's nothing that even comes close. We guarantee it with our full satisfaction money-back guarantee. Smoke one and if it's not everything we claim, send the rest back for a full refund. We'll even give you a refund for the cigar you smoked. Torpedo are 6 inches long with a ring gauge of 52. 20 Torpedos are packed in a bundle.
La Caya has been making cigars in the Cibao tobacco region of the Dominican Republic since 1997. While they're a well known cigar maker in the industry, they're not well known to cigar smokers. That's because they usually make cigars for other cigar companies, under the company's own brands. Many of their hand made cigars have earned top ratings and praise. A few years ago they decided to take their best tobacco and make a limited amount of ultra-premium cigars under their own La Caya brand.
Only a few boxes made it out to the stores and a limited group of cigar aficionados. Even Smoke Magazine loved these, giving them a 92 rating. After these cigars were extensively aged we bought their whole inventory. We got a great deal and are passing the saving on to you.

Clouds of aeromatic smoke-
Posted by Limey Republican on 3rd Apr 2014
I recently bought a bundle of these (sale price $20). Despite a long journey from sunny Miami to the cold wet and windy climate of deepest darkest Lancashire, the first one I tried (it rested 12 hours in my humi) was as close to cigar heaven as you're likely to get. They also improve significantly if left in a humi for a few weeks. If only CC would use UPS for overseas, it works out cheaper. Anyway, these cigars are superb for the money. Great taste, looks, even burn + plumes of white smoke - good as an everyday cigar or for a special occasion. Highly recommended. Thanks again CC for another bargain. God bless America.

I always try to keep a stock of these for walks around the neighborhood or the common beach day. Very enjoyable and reliable smoke.

Yeah, I'm a skeptic as I've only had one, but if these are consistent, I've stumbled upon a great find. I'll go into more detail if the next one is as good, but basically great Maduro flavors like others have mentioned.

this cigar surprised me - for the price - you get a great burning cigar with nice floral notes - lots of smoke for a light pack cigar - they also look very cool and burn cool - a great evening smoke - good drawl - surprising for a light pack - defiantly worth the money - another opportunity cuban crafters has provided to smoke what we love at a great price - i bought two bundles - maybe soon i will go back for more
