Average sharpness; the cigar cut edges are not totally even. But the main reason for no more than 3 stars - the lower part of the blade orifice (the opening where you put a cigar for cutting) has a space btw metal parts and is easily filled with tobacco after the first cut, which requires immediate clean up to continue to work the blade.
