Tabacos Baez Serie SF Corona cigars are handmade at Pepin Garcia's My Father tabacalera in Nicaragua. That should tell you something about the quality and flavor you can expect from these medium-bodied, mixed-filler cigars. Named for the Cuban city where Pepin was born, these puros are blended with 70% Cuban-seed Nicaraguan longfiller, 30% short-filler, and rolled in Nicaraguan Habano wrappers.
Don Pepin continues to produce quality cigars that offer something new. Every cigar that he produces continues to astound. These mixed filler handmades are an incredible value.
Tabaco Baez Corona are medium-bodied and dominated by cedar flavors. The smoke is rich and smooth, laced with notes of cocoa, a subtle hint of coffee and a dash of pepper on the finish.

First I want to say that my Tabacos Baez Serie SF Corona Cigars came very dry! It was as if they had not been in a humidor. However after I called Cuban Crafters to complain I was given a discount on my next order! Thank you Cuban Crafters!
My Tabacos Baez Serie SF Corona Cigars have a very mild but good taste with hints of ceder, leather, and cocoa. They produce good smoke and burn even. They only problem is because they dried out cutting them has been an issue. They tend to unravel after cutting. I have had them in my humidor now for over a week and they are staring to gain a bit of their moisture back. Hopefully cutting them will get to be less of an issue.
If you are looking for a cheap quick everyday Cigar then the Tabacos Baez Serie SF Corona Cigar may be your ideal smoke. Just pray they are not dry when you get them.
