Cubano Claro Lonsdale Cigars are handmade with our best Cuban-seed long-filler from the Cupido tobacco field, all enveloped in a Connecticut Desflorado wrapper. Desflorado tobacco is some of the best and most expensive available anywhere. It requires constant vigilance and when the buds are ready to flower they are cut off, giving the tobacco an extra rich and smooth taste. The tobacco leaves from the Corona, the crown on the top of the tree, are then hand selected for these very special Lonsdale cigars. Cubano Claro Lonsdales are hand made by our best Cuban trained rollers. While the process is long and laborious, once you taste them and see their perfect construction, you will say that it's worth it. The Cubano Claro Lonsdale starts with a medium body taste that is sophisticated and full of sweet spices and toasted nuts. It then builds fuller in body with smooth and creamy notes of coffee, sweet layers of nutmeg and tinges of butter. The finish is full of complex tastes surrounded by light layers of white chocolate. These cigars are so special that we packaged them in vintage cedar humidor boxes. A very special box for very special cigars. Lonsdales are 6 1/4 inches long with a ring gauge of 38. They are hand packaged in a cedar box of 20 cigars.

The name is Lonsdale, but the size is Lancero! Incredible taste. I have previously experienced only one comparable cigar, a Cuban Veguero of the same size. This innocent-looking wrapper holds an atomic bomb of rich ligeros. Spicy and sweet tones combined with the deepest tobacco flavors produce reminders of cinnamon, fresh onions, peppers, cardamon; hard to describe but easy to experience! Makes my nose itch in the most delightful way. A 9.6 out of 10. Thank you Cuban Crafters!

I received this in a 12-pack sampler (didn't know it was coming; one of the other usuals must have been "sacrificed," and damned glad I am). One of the most unusual non-flavoreds I've ever smoked: A spicy beast, but not of "pepper"--nutmeg, as in the description, comes closest. Sweet and very sharp (but not "hot"), this one might not appeal to every smoker. I can see where it might not be suitable before dessert time, and after dinner. A perfect burn; light, but no white ash, holds well. Sturdy in construction and an smooth, nearly effortless draw. I'm contemplating buying a box of the lanceros, as the others are a bit too rich for my blood. The quality humidor will make a freebie extra in which to place a double-bunch of little Don Kiki brown puritos I just ordered.

I got these in and let them rest in the humidor for a couple of weeks before trying one. These are a spicy smoke, yet very smooth. They have a creamy buttery taste about them as described. Construction is exquisite. Draw is effortless especially for a cigar of this ring gauge, and the burn was as perfect as one can get. Perfectly even burn, crisp burn line with a nice tight white ash. I am so glad I have added these to my stock. Very fine cigars and I am very pleased with them. I am also pleased with the humidor box that they are packed in. The box comes with a plastic hygrometer, but I was able to calibrate it using the salt method with no problem. It does not however come with a humidifier as when I opened the humidifier compartment, it was empty. The compartment is not very large... about 3 3/4 L x 1 1/4 W x 1 1/8 D
I am an industrious type, so I made a humidifier out of an old mint tin and a clean sponge. After cutting sponge to fit tin and soaking with distilled water, I inserted it into the compartment in which it fits perfectly. After 3 days the box holds 70% humidity very nicely. So it is a true humidor box that truly holds humidity as it should and is really a nice plus. Once again, Thanks to all at Cuban Crafters for a job well done!!

Don Kiki, you have uncovered the secret of true Habano flavors wrapped up in this thin but powerful cigar. Body and flavor are exactly what Habano lovers like me search for. Even better is that unlike the recent Cuban products, these are perfectly constructed every time - each one smokes like a dream. And the usual 5 years or so of humidor time that Habanos require to reach their peak? Forget about it with the Cubano Claro cigars - they\'re ready when I get \'em. I can taste the result of highest quality tobacco leaves exquisitely fermented, beautifully blended and rolled, then aged to perfection at the factory. Now I understand what my Father thought was so great about Habanos many years before the embargo. Bravo Don Kiki! You and these Seegars are my favorite Cubans of all.
