El Fenicio Campana shaped cigar is for those that enjoy a robust, yet smooth taste. We all make mistakes, and our mistake with this shaped cigar is your gain. We developed a new ultra-premium cigar line that is full-bodied, rich in flavor and perfectly box-pressed. It is hand made with premium Cuban-seed Habano tobacco enveloped in a dark and beautiful Habano 2000 wrapper. Everything was going as planned but during production we realized that some of the tobacco from our Esteli farm had been accidentally mixed with that from our Jalapa Valley farm. Each farm's tobacco has different and unique characteristics. While most cigar makers would just disregard this mistake and continue production, our standards are higher so we stopped production. We believe in consistency and would have never been able to recreate the blend again. After aging them we put our El Fenicio cigar ring on them and packaged them in bundles of 25 cigars to liquidate them. If you enjoy full bodied cigars, El Fenicio Campana shaped cigar will become your favorite. Even better yet, the price is less than half of the amount that we would be charging had we not made the mistake. They have a stout taste that is intensely flavorful with well balanced flavors and earthy, leathery undertones. There are hints of spices, nuts and cocoa. It ends with whispers of coffee and chocolate. Enjoy them while we have them in stock as they will never be available again. Each Campana shaped cigar is 5 1/2 inches long with a 60 ring gauge. 25 are hand packaged in a bundle.
El Fenicio are special, limited production cigars. They were hand made at Tabacalera Esteli by skilled master rollers. Box-pressed, they are finished the way that a cigar in Cuba used to be, with a cap that has a long curly head. As in the Cuba of the past, each tobacco leaf is hand selected in the field. It is then cured and aged through an extensive fermentation and aging process. After three years and five curing fermentations, the leaves evolve into perfect cigars at the hands of highly trained artisans. Smoking one is an experience all by itself. The draw is firm and each puff generates clouds of smoke. The complex taste is intensely flavorful and full in body.

These cigars are a very good cigar. The only thing I have problems with was getting past the burn quality. I had to relite several times to even out the burn. They are a very sturdy well built cigar. But seem to burn uneven for 3/4 the way through. Thye burn then steady out at the last quarter. As for the flavor they are up there with the best. It\'s starts out as a mild cigar and about half way through the cigar gets a more spicer and brings in a robust flavor. I could easily taste the chocolate and coffee. With sometimes a nice mellow caramel flavor in the begining. The spices then kicked in during the second half the cigar. Overall well balanced flavor. They are worth the $50 or below price. I looked forward to letting these breath in my humidor to see what flavors come in the future. Thank you C.C. for another good cigar at a resonable price.

Why would you put these great smokes in the closeout section? They are as good or better than those that cost 4 times as much. Excellent deep earthy taste that develops into raw cocoa and chocolate. It then gets smooth with deep floral taste but and the chocolate gets sweeter. Hard to put down but I needed to cause it is a strong cigar that packs a punch. You don't want this one to end. But like all good things it does. I'll keep buying them til they run out. JD - Virgina

VALUE CLOSEOUT -- These puppies are worth every penny. Too bad CC cannot reproduce this blend. For those that prefer the Salazar blend BUY UP on this item. Wonderfully deep flavor with NO harsh edges. Low on the pepper scale with wonderful cocoa, dark carmel, and coffee flavors. As always construction is an A+.

I am a full body cigars fan and I like cigars like Camacho, Gloria, Man\'o war. This sticks surprised me very much. Strong, but not too strong. Very solid, but easy to smoke - each puff is a pleasure. The flavor is absolutely unique. I found that this smoke is the best when accompanied with dark rum. What else is good - the size - 60 ring and 5.5\". It\'s enough for about 30-45 minutes and the shape is very attractive.
To make long story shorter - since I tried this cigar, I smoke one El Fenicio every day.
