I received this cigar in the sampler. I am a fairly new smoker and the weird shape was intriguing to me so i tried it first. It tasted pretty full-bodied to me. The only problem i had was trying to keep it lit past the fat mid section. Had to relight but after that it was terrific.

I got this in a sampler. This figurado was absolutely delicious when lit, and the great taste tapered off a bit but it remained very enjoyable. I had difficulty keeping it lit after halfway through (i'm a slow smoker). i hit two real bad spots (bad luck i guess) but overall this was a fine smoke. Great aftertaste and nice little buzz. I would definitely buy these again.

This cigar really surprised me. I really didn't care for it when i lit it but by the middle, I was in love with it. It packs a huge punch for a little cigar. You will want to smoke this one s-l-o-w-l-y. By the end I had a really nice buzz going and was ready to order a box!

This is very first one i tried from don kiki and now i am ordering a box. It felt rather strong and full bodied to me and i like to have it occasionally. It draws easy and it burns evenly. Very well made. Size is perfect to me too. I don't think i can go through whole churchill or torpedo. It perhaps would be overwhelming for me. That is why i had to wait since the figurados were sold out.

I'm halfway through my box, so i thought it was time to post a review. I've found the taste and aroma of these to be very good and very consistent; Full-bodied, rich tobacco smell & taste but not overpowering, which I find very enjoyable. They look great too; Dark, oily wrapper on each one, only a couple with visible flaws. The two negatives i've noticed are the burn & draw. A few have been rolled a little too tight for my taste, and have burned straight until after getting past the bulbous end (though i'll concede this is probably a difficult shape to make). The ash is usually a bit flakey as well, but that's probably attributable to the burn issue. All in all, i'd say it's a "good" smoke. Got this in 12 sampler pack. Wow, i thought it was great. Surprisingly strong and flavorful for a small-looking cigar. From just the first few puffs i was already buzzed, and the great flavor continued during the whole smoke, without getting unpleasantly stronger nor tapering off, but very consistent. I didn't have any need to relight as others describe. It lasted longer than you'd think, also, from the size. I smoked this together with a buddy who was smoking a cuban crafter toro, and i finished only just a couple of minutes before him. I'm not good at describing flavors, but this was strong and pleasant at the same time. Definitely on my list.

I am finishing one of the last from a box of toros right now and loving it. I went through a box of the botellas a while back and was mostly happy with those as well.
i will say though that the botella, while an excellent smoke all around (i love the shape), frequently had burn problems. A good one burned great and smoked like a champ but there were too many that just burned very poorly. The toros have all burned nearly perfectly without a single plugged one in the box.
as to the taste, both vitolas -- pure heaven. The oily, velvet-soft wrapper obviously influencing the dark, rich flavor but complementing perfectly the contents. Creamy-smooth with espresso and milk chocolate overtones but a crisp finish. Accompanied by a guiness draught or a fine bourbon and you have an intensely enjoyable and flavorful experience.

I thought this cigar was better than the red and green labels. At first i wasn\'t real fond of the taste, but towards the end of the cigar it got better and i started to enjoy it more. It has a good bold taste, but it is not overpowering. Overall i would rate this cigar a 4-4.5/5.

My first intoduction to don kiki's was the red label reserve which i really rate as a good tasting smoke. But i was anxiously awaiting these interesting little fellows with much anticipation based on the reviews i read and i have to tell ya, i will spend my money on the don kiki red labels in heartbeat. I like the brown label but it won't be a purchase i'll repeat when i like the red labels more.

Got this in the sampler and it is a tasty cigar with a nice nutty flavor and aroma. I didn\'t like the way it burned, and it got a bit hot toward the end, due to the shape and size. I would probably try a box of the torpedoes instead.

Well gents, i must disagree with the majority review. While inexpensive is one attribute to consider, it doesn't trump the need for a cigar to taste good. The don kiki botella has a great shape, a mediocre ash, a fairly smooth draw, a nice wrapper, but a flavor that does nothing for me. I couldn't really pick out anything distinctively good to note. It's an ok tobacco taste at a decent price.

These are, by far, one of the best cigars cc carries. The peppery, spicy overtone that it maintains through the 1st 1/2 gives way to a coco/chocolaty/macademia nut finish. The first box (last year) i bought had about a 1/5 ratio of having a poor burning or badly rolled cigar. I just purchased another and every one so far has been perfect. Just purchased 2 more. this was the first cigar from the 12 sampler pack that i smoked. I was intrigued by the shape, size and the beautiful chocolate brown wrapper. The full bodied flavor was pleasant and satisfying. It burned uniformly and never got bitter even down to finger burning length. These are ideal for a 30 to 45 minute smoke. The buzz is strong but pleasant. I see a box of these in my humidor in the very near future for my own pleasure as well as surprising nuggets to share with good friends!

Amazing look cigar, even if i don't smoke this size of cigars. After preparing my french press mocha java coffee, i opened humidor and grab this little cigar.. this cigar is very beautiful when looking to the shape and the gorgeous dark and oily wrapper. Sweet pre lighting taste. When lit start with a very delicious flavor " sweet+spices", the goes slowly to the lighter spices and floral and leathery flavor. The burn was good and the ash was pit darker to gray. The perfect draw felled my mouth with the delicious white smokes "clouds". all in all well done for this figurado don kiki

I have smoked authentic cuban for many years and this is as close or as good.for the price this is an excellent smoke very good draw and good taste. I thought it wuold not last but a slow steady burn.

Friends, I have smoked\'em all.....just about....And for 25 years at that.If you like old style cubans you will love this cigar. It has the strength without the bitter bite,it has the layers of flavor,and though the wrapper is a tad on the rustic side (to say the least),It lets you know you\'re smoking a natural product...I\'ll take taste any day.I\'m smoking one now and the burn is razor perfect.The smoke is full and slightly powdery.It\'s growing more complex as it goes, and this is just a little guy....can\'t wait until the bigger ones are in stock. I always smoke through the nose,so there is a bit more spice there,but still smooth.This is straight outta the bundle too can\'t wait to humi them for a while...........If you like med to full cigars get some, get some, get some.No risk here ,just rewards.Tony P from Nashville Tn
