1 inch white ash. You get easy puffing with a light cedar taste the first half. The second half opens up to more prominent woody flavors where the party begins. There is a pleasant light aroma from the sumatran wrapper. For the money, this is a compelling buy. Couple this with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Burn is quite straight, and burns about 2 hours. The smoke does not irritate the nostrils or the eyes. I'm comparing this one to the regular cc line where i find the taste and strength as medium to full. So this sandwich is light to slightly medium in taste and strength. The taste between the two is very different yet familiar. For the quality, this is a compelling buy.
