As far as my personal tastes go, i enjoy this one more than many other "premium" that are on the market. Before I get into my actual review, i would like to say that i have smoked my fair share of bundled cigars and even short filler handrolled ones, and that until i have smoked the entire bundle there is no way to be sure of consistant quality. To the review: intitial light: Aroma was sweet with a bit of "char" almost like burning newspaper. This quickly dissapeared and a nutty sweet aroma began to show. initial draw: Nutty and earthy, medium bodied. Just like they claim, a good straightforward tobacco taste (which is what i prefer). half-way point: The aroma is remaining nutty but is taking on a creamier charicteristic similar to some cusano's or macanudo's that i have smoked (impressive for a sanwich). the flavor also begins to show creaminess with a hint of coffee bean showing through. final-third: The taste has gotten stronger, the nuttiness has progressed to a toasty quality almost like a good sourdough pretzal. The coffee is also shining through now and the finish is still great. final judgment: This is the best i have ever smoked in this price range and category. If you dont give this a shot you're either crazy or too rich to care. I am neither, and appreciate that cuban crafters offers cigars like this to help college students like myself enjoy the pleasures without breaking the bank. Subject :: Sandwich review I'm fairly new to the world of cigars (about 6 months), but i have sampled several brands so far (punch, black pearl, a.fuente, macanudo, et al) and i've also sampled cuban crafters' 12 pack sampler. This bundled cigar is smooth and mild, and definitely has the cedar taste during the first third. Different than what i've smoked. Towards the middle, it smooths out even more and becomes very creamy. It is a good everyday cigar, has a fairly tight draw, and doesn't produce as much smoke as i prefer, but it's not bad for the price you pay. Subject :: Surprised This el-cheapo cigar smokes like a top rated cigar. I was surprised by how well it was constructed, good cap, easy draw and even burn with a firm ash. The taste was as described and stays consistant throughout. I smoke them to the nub. This is a real bargain and you will not be disapointed...a great every day cigar and at a little more than 55 cents a pop........smoke em if you got em!
