1850 was the year that started the golden era of cigar making in Cuba. It is when C.E. Beck y Ca. (C.E. Beck and Company) was founded and began making some of Cuba’s finest cigars. BECK, as they were called, quickly established a following. C.E. Beck y Ca made their elite premium cigars medium-bodied and with an extremely flavorful, almost buttery taste. The taste was a result of careful curing and aging of every tobacco leaf used for the cigar. From royalty to aristocrats, BECK became the cigars of choice. Each cigar was totally made by hand and a work of art. Cigar connoisseurs can again enjoy those great and flavorful cigars that C.E. Beck y Ca made famous in Cuba years ago. BECK Ranchero by Tabacalera Esteli are now Nicaraguan made and have the same mellow and flavorful medium-bodied taste that made the originals so desirable. The bouquet will have you reminiscing of the special cigars that were made in the Cuba of the past. Each is totally made by hand and a true work of art. You too can now enjoy the preferred cigar of nobility.
MEDIUM BODY. Their celebrated taste is creamy and mildly spicy with an exhilarating and complex buttery undertone. It is very smooth and melodious with hints of nutmeg, mild spices and oak. The aroma has a very pleasant floral scent.

Subject :: The beck's gran cameroon ranchero torpedo
I have smoked cigars since i joined the air force in 1973 (though those i could afford back then i would not use today to line the bottom of a hamster cage), and in all those years of smoking there have been only a handfull i would rate at a 9 or a 10, and this cigar is one of them. I had the pleasure to try this fine cigar a few days ago and may i say it was heavenly. The long burning ash, the smoothness of taste from start to finish (i smoked it to the very end), and the superb aroma would please and delight the hardest of critics.
I challenge anyone to find fault with it. A treasure from the first to the last puff! Great with brandy, mojitos, or cuban coffee.

This is a cigar to surprise you. It has a pigtail head and a mild-to-medium-bodied taste with a spicy aroma. But it’s hardly dull. The blend showcases a light, caramelized blend with a medium-length, very smooth finish. The balance is almost perfect and the cigar sails along with an even burn. There’s just a hint of spice on the finish in the second half, but that’s only signals the end of a very nice, elegant smoke.
Not heavily publicized, this is a very nice cigar and a nice value at direct-order pricing of $4.00 - 5.20 each.
Overall grade: A-: Excellent.
