Subject :: Good 20 minute smoke
I smoked one as soon as i received them. It was a bit dry, smoked unevenly, harsh and bitter. I figured that i wasted my money on these. I decided to unwrap all of the remaining ones and stuck them in the lower bowels of my humidor. After a month or so a friend asked if i had any small cigars. I suddenly remembered the Artes I had deep in my humidor. I set my friends expectations according to the one i had smoked and bid him farewell as i was late for an appointment. My friend contacted me the very next day and asked how much i paid for them and where did i get them. After i told him the cost, he replied that he would be more than glad to take them off my hands for my cost. I decided that i should give these little cigars another chance. I was surprised with a medium bodied mellow even burning smoke. I smoked the last of the 25 after it had mellowed in my humidor for nearly 3 months. It was a pleasurable smoke and i hated that it was my last. Let them rehydrate for a couple of months and you will have big flavor in a nice 20 minute smoke.

Have to agree with previous review on some points...
A little harsh at first puff.
Got much better by the end of first cigar!
Wrapping was stuck like glue.
Put in my humidor to moisten them.
They\'re dry for sure, but still smoked pretty evenly.
Flavor is mild with a little spice flavor.
Nice smooth smoke. I don\'t like real heavy tobacco.
I\'ll follow up with any new developments after seasoning.
