MEDIUM-BODIED. Starts with mild spices, lots of cream and just a hint of sweetness. It builds into a clean and rich smoke with loads of exhilarating, profoundly complex flavors. I sit here smoking a cupido tuxedo toro after a fabulous thanksgiving dinner. The construction and appearance are without peer at this price point; Maduro wrapper with very slight veining, firm feel and perfectly round. Toasting the end creates a wonderful aroma. The first 1/4 inch is very mild with a slightly herbal, sweet taste; Mild to medium. An inch into the cigar brings more robust flavors but still almost medium in impact. Draw is flawless. Cutting requires very little cut off the end; Too much and it slightly unravels. That\'s a learning process for me but a big lesson for you. The ash is straight and pure;it stays on for at least an inch until i remove it. The overall experience makes me want to try the churchill\'s of the same brand. This is a mild la carolina; Same flavors but smoother on the palette. This is the third cigar of a 3 cigar sample. Time (approximately 2 weeks) in the humidor improves the flavor. The prior 2 burned perfectly; This one canoed a bit but eventually got even again. These aren\'t advertised as maduro but they sure taste that way. I\'m becoming a big fan of dominican cigars; Filler, binder and wrap. Halfway thru the cigar, taste is moving to medium for sure. Still very pleasant and the odor remains pleasant. Enjoying a glass of shiraz with it and it adds to the experience. Two inches (of the original six) remain & it still is a cool smoke. I\'m going to be disappointed when it\'s finished. I received a box yesterday but am conditioning the humidor before i put them in to age. 80 minutes after lighting, i put it down at 3/4 of an inch. Still fantastic! I give thanks to don kiki & cuban crafters for producing this experiential bliss.

This is one phenomenal cigar. Better than rocky patel (and that\'s saying something). the first few puffs are mild but then the flavors begin to wow your mouth. It has a slightly sweet taste along with a mild leathery taste. About an inch into it, it takes on a slightly herbal tasted along with the barely perceptible sweetness. It is never harsh from beginning to end. I almost wish i had a roach clip to enable me to smoke it to about 1/2 inch. I love la carolina\'s and this one is sheer ecstasy. Very pleasant smeling smoke too. They are not your everyday smokes at about $8 each but worth every penny. The last one i smoked lasted about 90 minutes with no relights. Reward yourself and buy a box; I did after sampling 2 of them.
