One of Nicaragua's finest cigar makers desperately needed our aged Esteli, Nicaragua grown Cuban-seed tobacco. We don't normally sell it so we we traded our fine tobacco for these incredible box-pressed Maduro Torpedo cigars. They were being packaged for one of the hot cigar brands when Don Kiki walked in the factory and decided to light one up. Kiki asked about the blend and the cigar maker told him that it's all Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobacco and called it the King's blend, because of its smooth, yet complex medium to full bodied taste. After a few puffs, Kiki immediately offered the tobacco in exchange for some of the cigars. Their taste is creamy with well-balanced earthy notes of sweet cocoa, nuts, woods and chocolate. It was perfect timing for us, and the Cuban-born cigar legend making them agreed to the trade as long as we didn't tell anyone that he made them. He charges a lot for them but we got them cheap. We'd love to tell you but we gave our word.
It's a deal we couldn't pass up and are now passing the savings on to you. Once you try them you'll see what we mean. You could go to your local cigar store and pay about $10 for these with a pretty band and in a box, or you can get them from us a fraction of that, but without the ring and the box. Packaged naked in a bundle of 25, these Maduro Torpedos are beautifully box-pressed and are 5 3/4 inches long with a 52 ring gauge.
They're so good that we're backing them up as if we had made them. Try one from the bundle and if you don't absolutely enjoy them, send the rest back and we'll give you a full refund of the purchase price. You get to smoke it for free. That's how confident we are that you'll enjoy them.
Quantities are very limited and once we're sold out, we'll probably never get them again at this price.

These are good medium to strong cigars, not great. The price is quite reasonable and they are not a bad smoke.

For the money these are a really great buy. And I think over deliver on quality based on the price. I got a bundle of these just for smoking with buddies during our bi-weekly golf game, the cigars don't have to be outstanding but enjoyable without any surprises. They smoke smooth, clean with and even burn and show some nice sweet notes. I find they have a pleasant earthy, coffee chocolate character throughout the stick. We are impressed enough to order another couple of bundles for over the next few months.

...a fan of the Salazar maduros..I was encouraged to try these while the others were so hard to obtain.
They are so similar in the best way, a gentle box-pressed hand roll, allowing for a potent, easy draw.

I agree w/ the review this is a great cigar. I got a few last week at a show at my local B+M. This was the third cigar of the night and ralely held it's own. Visually very appealing and the ligero wrapped in a maduro was a fantastic combination. It ralely delivered. I mean it smoked and tasted just like I thought it would, and this is certainly not always the case. I can't afford this every day, but I will definitely smoke'em weekly. this brand just showed up at the local shop and I believe it will do just fine.
